Happy Halloween!

I hope all of you had a great Halloween. I know I sure did. In my new home with housemate Koali, we invited the Tree of Life staff, guests and apprentices to come in costume, of course, and simply have a great time. I prepared a bunch of cacao treats as well as some hemp-nori crackers and served that with a black sesame spread. Very Festive!! Other community members brought some treats too which was very kind of them. I must give a shoutout to Linda who brought these walnut, banana, chocolate snacks rolled in garden sorrel. At first, it sounded a bit strange but tasted really good!! It is amazing how much fun you can have when you get a bunch of raw foodists and cacao. The staff here came together at my home to celebrate halloween in style. I remember a few years back when a halloween party, or any party for that matter, must have included a ton of booze to make it worth while. Now we can come together and rock the house totally sober and have more fun than before. It is really special to see how in time we can change so much. The best part is that you don't have to deal with the hangeover in the morning!! Here are a few pics to remember the night.
